Das Gebiet um den Livadhi Beach hat die meisten Resortangebote, die Promenade bringt dich nah an Restaurants und Nachtleben, und die Altstadt bietet Atmosphäre zum Preis eines kurzen Wegs zum Wasser.
Überwiegend kleine, unabhängige Häuser: Apartments und Studios zur Selbstverpflegung, familiengeführte Gästehäuser und B&Bs sowie bescheidene Mittelklasse-Hotels machen den Großteil des Angebots aus, dazu vereinzelt Villen, eine Handvoll Hostels und ein paar Campingplätze. Es gibt nur wenige echte Luxushotels – Himara ist ein flach bebauter Urlaubsort, kein Ziel großer Ketten.
Die meisten Betten liegen im Ort Himara, zu Fuß erreichbar zum Spile Beach, zur Promenade und zu den Restaurants – die einfachste Basis, wenn du kein Auto hast. Für Morgen mit den Füßen im Wasser schau dir Livadhi, Potam und Prinos etwas südlich an. Qeparo und Vuno sind ruhigere Hügeldörfer, und Dhërmi und Drymades im Norden sind das Beachclub-Ende der Küste.
Sie ist immer noch günstig. Sparsame Reisende kommen mit etwa 30–50 € am Tag aus; ein Doppelzimmer in einem Gästehaus oder Mittelklasse-Hotel kostet im Sommer typischerweise rund 50–110 € pro Nacht, mehr für die wenigen gehobenen Optionen oder die am Strand. Die Preise steigen im Juli und August stark und sinken in den Nebensaisonmonaten.
Im Juli und August ja – die Häuser im Ort und am Strand füllen sich Wochen im Voraus, also buche früh. Im Juni und September hast du deutlich mehr Auswahl und kannst ein Zimmer oft ein paar Tage vorher arrangieren. Außerhalb des Sommers schließen viele kleinere Gästehäuser ganz.
Fast ausschließlich kleine Häuser – Gästehäuser, Apartments und familiengeführte Hotels, oft direkt beim Eigentümer oder über die üblichen Plattformen gebucht. Erwarte keine weitläufigen All-inclusive-Resorts; der Reiz liegt hier in der ruhigen, lokal geführten Größe der Küste.
