Spile, Himarë · Albanian Riviera
Third floor, first row
A hostel on the Lungomare in Himarë, twenty metres from the Ionian and three floors above the promenade it looks down on. Everything it rents is a bed: mixed dorms of six, ten and twelve, a six-bed female dorm, and a single private double.
What you book
Everything here is a bed
There are no suites to choose between and no upgrade to weigh. The two booking channels between them sell mixed dormitories of six, ten and twelve beds, a six-bed female dormitory, and one private double with a bathroom of its own. Beds are sold one at a time.

Where it stands
Twenty metres of pavement
The building fronts the Lungomare, Himarë’s seafront walk, with a line of umbrella pines and then Spile Beach between it and the water — twenty metres of pavement, and then the Ionian. The centre of town is about fifty metres away, which puts the shops, the cafés and the buses on the national road inside a few minutes on foot.
It is the one thing every scoring system agrees about. Both booking channels rate the location 9.6 out of 10 — well above what either gives the hostel overall.
