What a bed comes with

A curtain that pulls across the bunk
A reading lamp at the pillow
A small shelf inside the bunk
A locker with a numbered door and a key

Dormitory doors take a keypad or a card rather than a key, and the lockers at the foot of the bunks carry the same numbers that are painted on the frames. The bathrooms are the newest thing in the building: grey marble, walk-in showers and backlit round mirrors.

Check-in runs from 14:00 into the evening and check-out is by 11:00.
