Nehmen Restaurants in Himara Karten an, oder brauche ich Bargeld?

Bring Bargeld mit. Albanien funktioniert größtenteils mit dem Lek (etwa 100 ALL pro 1 €), und viele kleinere Tavernen, Strandlokale und Cafés akzeptieren nur Bargeld oder bevorzugen es, auch wenn größere und gehobenere Lokale zunehmend Karten nehmen. Im Ort Himara gibt es Geldautomaten, aber trag genug Lek für eine Mahlzeit bei dir – Kartengeräte fallen aus, wenn das Signal weg ist.

Wie viel kostet eine Mahlzeit in Himara?

Nach westeuropäischen Maßstäben ist es immer noch günstig. Ein legeres Taverna- oder Pizza-Essen kostet etwa 8–15 € pro Person, während ein Frischfisch-Dinner in einem Restaurant am Meer mehr kostet – Fisch wird meist nach Kilo berechnet, also kläre Gewicht und Preis vor der Bestellung. Sollte ich einen Tisch im Voraus reservieren?
