Livadhi from the Boat
Livadhi Beach is the first major swim stop heading north from Himara — about 4.5 km by sea, a 7–10 minute speedboat run. The beach is a wide pebble crescent (~1.5 km long) enclosed by rocky headlands, with crystal-clear shallow water that's particularly good for families. From the boat, the framing is the main attraction: the entire crescent visible at once, headlands on each end, and Himara Castle silhouetted on the hill above.
Standard swim allocation: 20–30 minutes. The boat anchors offshore; swimmers reach the beach and return.
Why It's on Every Tour
| Tour | Livadhi treatment |
|---|---|
| Pirate's Cave half-day | First stop, 20-min swim |
| Himara Coastline tour | Standard swim stop |
| Grama Bay full-day | Brief pass-through or short swim |
| Sunset cruise | Sometimes anchored for evening swim |
For most short tours, Livadhi is where the day eases in — calm water, shallow swim, restaurants visible onshore.
