La zona de la playa de Livadhi tiene la mayor oferta de resorts, el paseo marítimo te deja cerca de restaurantes y vida nocturna, y el casco antiguo ofrece ambiente a cambio de un corto paseo hasta el agua.
Sobre todo establecimientos pequeños e independientes: apartamentos y estudios con cocina propia, casas de huéspedes y B&B de gestión familiar, y modestos hoteles de gama media forman el grueso de la oferta, con algunas villas dispersas, un puñado de hostales y unos pocos campings. Solo hay unos pocos hoteles de auténtico lujo: Himara es un pueblo turístico de poca altura, no un destino de grandes cadenas.
La mayoría de las camas están en el pueblo de Himara, a pie de la playa de Spile, el paseo marítimo y los restaurantes: la base más cómoda si no tienes coche. Para mañanas con los pies en el agua, fíjate en Livadhi, Potam y Prinos, justo al sur. Qeparo y Vuno son tranquilos pueblos de ladera, y Dhërmi y Drymades, al norte, son la zona de beach clubs de la costa.

Los viajeros con presupuesto ajustado se las arreglan con unos 30-50 € al día con todo incluido; una habitación doble en una casa de huéspedes u hotel de gama media suele costar unos 50-110 € por noche en verano, más para las pocas opciones de alto nivel o frente al mar. Los precios suben con fuerza en julio y agosto y bajan en los meses de temporada media.
En julio y agosto, sí: los locales del pueblo y frente al mar se llenan con semanas de antelación, así que reserva pronto. En junio y septiembre tienes mucha más oferta y a menudo puedes conseguir una habitación con pocos días de margen. Fuera del verano, muchas casas de huéspedes pequeñas cierran por completo.
