Lukovë Beach
Lukovë, far-south Riviera between Himara and Saranda, below the SH8

Kakome Bay, between Lukovë and Saranda, about 12 km north of Saranda by road
Kakome is a sheltered bay on the far-south Riviera, ringed by hills, with a pier to jump from and almost nothing else. It is the quietest stop on the Saranda boat-tour circuit, and boats are the only realistic way in: the road down to the shore ends at a guarded gate. Published descriptions of the shore differ between pebble and coarse sand. Aerial photographs show a jetty and sunbeds laid out in high summer, but nothing you should count on being open.
Clear and sheltered, with a pier to jump from
By boat in practice. Land access is blocked by a security gate on the approach road and the shore is private property. Day boats from the Saranda promenade anchor in the bay for a swim stop through the summer.
A jetty and rows of sunbeds are set out in peak summer, but nothing is reliably open and there is no shop. Bring water and food.
