Lukove Beach Albania: Quiet Coast Guide
Lukove sits between Himara and Saranda with quiet pebble beaches and few tourists. Access, parking, nearby tavernas, and best season.

Lukovë, far-south Riviera between Himara and Saranda, below the SH8
Lukovë is a long, quiet pebble-and-shingle beach on the far-south Ionian coast, prized for crystal-clear, shallow, calm water and an authentic, uncommercialized feel. Unlike Ksamil or Dhërmi there are no big beach clubs or loud music — just waves, cicadas and the occasional fishing boat. It keeps an uncrowded, local atmosphere even in summer.
Crystal-clear, shallow and calm — easy for families and gentle swimming
Reached by an unpaved road down from the SH8, with free parking within walking distance of the shore. A car is the practical way in.
Seasonal sunbeds and umbrellas (around €5–10 a set), small cafés and bars, showers and changing cabins. No lifeguards.
