Common questions

Does the app work offline?

Mostly. Listings, place details, your saved places, your trip dates and sunrise and sunset times work without a connection, and photos you have already viewed stay cached. Live weather, the events calendar, the hotel map with prices, and booking and website pages need a connection.

I have a problem with a booking. Who do I contact?

The company you booked with. Hotel bookings are made with Stay22's partners such as Booking.com, tours with GetYourGuide, and some boat trips directly with the operator. We do not take bookings or payments, so changes, cancellations and refunds are handled by that company.

How do I change my trip dates in the app?

Open the Stays tab and tap the bar showing Check-in, Nights and Guests. If you have already set dates, you can also tap Edit on the trip card on the Today tab. Hotel prices on Stays and your plan on Today follow the new dates.

How do I change the app's language?

The app uses your iPhone's language if it is one the app supports: English, Albanian, Greek, German, French, Spanish or Dutch. Otherwise it shows English. To choose a different language for Himara only, open Settings on your iPhone and go to Apps > Himara > Language.

A listing is wrong or a place has closed. How do I tell you?

Email info@himara.net with the name of the place and what has changed. A link or photo helps. We fix it on himara.net, and the app picks up the change in its next update.

Do I need an account?

No. The app has no accounts. Your saved places and trip dates are stored on your iPhone, so they are not shared between devices and are removed if you delete the app.
