La plage de Palermo est une crique de galets tranquille sur la baie de Porto Palermo, juste au nord du promontoire couronné par la forteresse triangulaire d'Ali Pacha. Le rivage est fait de galets et de gravier, adossé à de basses broussailles et à la roche, avec l'eau claire et turquoise pour laquelle la baie est réputée. C'est l'un des nombreux petits coins de baignade disséminés autour de l'anse abritée, bien adapté à une baignade tranquille loin des plages plus fréquentées de Himara.
