Porto Palermo bay, ~8 km south of Himara
Der Palermo-Strand ist eine ruhige Kieselbucht an der Bucht von Porto Palermo, kurz nördlich der Landzunge gelegen, die von Ali Paschas dreieckiger Festung gekrönt wird. Die Küste besteht aus Schotter und Kieseln, dahinter niedriges Gestrüpp und Fels, mit dem klaren, türkisen Wasser, für das die Bucht bekannt ist. Sie ist einer von mehreren kleinen Badeplätzen rund um die geschützte Bucht, gut geeignet für ein ruhiges Bad fern der belebteren Stadtstrände Himaras. Auf dem kiesigen Untergrund werden Wasserschuhe empfohlen.
