From Vlorë
Roughly one and a half to two hours south along the SH8 Riviera road, by coach or taxi. Vlorë is north of Himarë; the road climbs the Llogara pass on the way down.

From Sarandë
Roughly one to one and a half hours north along the same coast road. Sarandë is south of Himarë.
By coach
The Vlorë–Sarandë coaches stop in Himarë town on the national road, 1.3 km north of the hostel. From there it is a short taxi ride, or a walk south to Potam.
By car
Turn off the coast road at Potam and climb the track. There is free private parking on the gravel under the cypresses.
