By car
The SH8 coast road runs through Potam past the gate. From Tirana it is roughly four hours south; from Sarandë about an hour and a quarter north. Parking is enclosed, on site and free, with no need to reserve it.
By air
Tirana International is the usual arrival point. Corfu and Ioannina are closer as the crow flies but involve a crossing or a border. Transfers can be arranged in advance for an additional charge — ask before you travel.
On foot
The beach is two minutes down the lane. Restaurants, a café and a cash machine are all inside a hundred and fifty metres, and the centre of Himarë with its banks and shops is about eight hundred metres up the coast.
