The pool, the lawn and the bar
The Blue Wave is built around its garden rather than around a lobby. Everything that happens here in the daytime happens between the terrace doors and the boundary hedge.

The pool
A seasonal outdoor pool with paving running right around it, and beyond that a block of loungers and parasols four rows deep between the water and the boundary wall. Beanbags sit on the paving at the near end and on the grass beyond it. Path lighting comes on at dusk and the terrace stays usable well after the swimming stops.
The bar
A lounge bar sits beside the pool, serving coffee in the morning and cold drinks through the day. It is a bar rather than a kitchen — there is no restaurant here, and breakfast is not part of the room rate. Four places to eat stand within a hundred and fifty metres of the coordinate — Prinos, Restaurant Dhima, Portokalli and Cibo Mare e Terre.
The beach
Two minutes' walk down the lane is the hotel's own stretch of beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas free for guests. The SH8 runs between the building and the water, so the walk crosses it. The shore faces west-south-west, which is the right way round for the end of the day.

The bathrooms
Walk-in showers, a live-edge oak shelf, and Lush in the bottle.
Bathrooms run to a round vessel basin on a live-edge oak shelf in a black steel frame, a backlit mirror, and a rain shower behind a single sheet of glass. The bath products are Lush — Sticky Dates shower gel, one bottle labelled in English and the other in Albanian.
