Aké jedlá sú typické pre Himaru?
Kuchyňa Himary stavia na Iónskom mori a gréckom dedičstve regiónu. Typické sú grilované a vyprážané čerstvé ryby a morské plody, jedlá s gréckym vplyvom ako souvlaki, gyros a grilované mäso, ako aj albánska a stredomorská klasika. Ryby sa zvyčajne predávajú na kilá, preto si pred objednaním overte váhu a cenu. Cestovatelia s nízkym rozpočtom vyžijú približne s 30–50 € na deň so všetkým. Káva a koláč stoja pár eur.
Mám si stôl rezervovať vopred?
Do väčšiny neformálnych taverien môžete prísť bez rezervácie. V júli a auguste sa obľúbené podniky pri mori a tie s lepším hodnotením počas večere zaplnia. Preto sa oplatí rezervovať si stôl deň vopred alebo prísť skôr, približne pred 20:00. Mimo hlavnej sezóny je rezervácia potrebná len zriedka.

Najviac ich je na mestskej promenáde v Himare a na nábreží Spile, kde sú taverny pri mori, pizzerie a kaviarne jedna vedľa druhej.
