The table
A table here fills up. Eight or ten white plates at once in the middle of the blue planks — pies cut from the tray, small plates of cheese and vegetables, salad, olives, oil, and something off the grill sold by the kilo for everyone to reach into.
The pies are sold by the piece and most of the grill by the kilo, which tells you which half of the card is for one person and which half is for a table.

14 of the 22 lines we print have no meat in them. The pies are where it shows most plainly.

The appetisers run the same way: nine of the ten have no meat in them, from fërgesë and saganaqi through grilled vegetables, tzatziki and olives. Meat-free means no meat and nothing further — much of it is built on cheese or egg.
That line matters if you are eating without meat around Himarë: the pies and the cheese plates are vegetarian rather than vegan, here and everywhere else on this coast.
The grill is the other half of the card, and it is sold by the kilo.

We are on Rruga Vangjel Zoto at Potam, a turn off the SH8 south of Himarë town, at the inland edge of the Potam restaurants. There is a phone number, and there are directions.
