The awkward parts, first

This hotel has more restrictions than most on this coast and they are the things worth knowing before the card comes out — except that the card is exactly what will not work.

Paymenthouse rules; every mirror of the listing repeats it

Cash only.

The property does not accept cards on site. Bring enough cash for the stay, or agree something with them before you arrive. One aggregator page contradicts this; the listing’s own house rules and every mirror of them do not.

Express check-in and check-out are listed as a service, which is why the check-out window opens at 07:00.

Children and beds

Children of all ages are welcome, but cots and extra beds cannot be added to any room — the listing states this for every type. So the bed count on the rooms page is the occupancy, with nothing to add to it. Four is the most any single room sleeps.

A room at Seaside Hotel with a double and a single bed against one long padded headboard, and a balcony door standing open
A double and a single sharing one channelled headboard the length of the wall. Cove lighting behind the ceiling perimeter, pale plank floor, full-height curtains pulled back from the balcony door. On the balcony, the same black mesh chair and round table; beyond it the hillside and the ridge rather than open water.
Pets

Not permitted.

Meals

No breakfast, no restaurant and no bar appear anywhere on the listing, and the Trip.com mirror of it states plainly that breakfast is not provided. Assume you are eating out.

Vlora International Airport appears on the listing as 52 miles away. It is not offered here as a way of getting here, because it is not yet operating scheduled flights.

Questionsanswers from the listing, not from guest reviews
Does Seaside Hotel take cards?
No. Booking.com's house rules for the property state that it only accepts cash payments, and every affiliate mirror of that listing repeats it. Bring enough cash for the stay, or agree something with the property before you arrive.
How far is the beach?
Booking.com publishes 150 ft — about 46 m — to Potam Beach. Measured from the hotel's map position to the southern tip of the beach as OpenStreetMap draws it, it is about 38 m. Either way it is the far side of the car park.
How far is Himarë town?
Booking.com publishes 0.9 miles, about 1.45 km. Measured from the map position to Spile, in the middle of town, it is about 1.5 km along the shore road.
What time can I check in?
From 14:30 until 23:30. Check-out is between 07:00 and 10:00. The minimum age at check-in is 18.
Is breakfast served?
No meal service appears anywhere on the listing, and the Trip.com mirror of it states that breakfast is not provided. There is no restaurant and no bar listed either.
Can I bring a cot or an extra bed?
No. The listing states that cots and extra beds cannot be added, for any room type. Children of all ages are welcome otherwise.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not permitted.
What languages does the hotel speak?
Greek, English and Albanian, in that order on the listing's own guest-services line.
What this page cannot tell youchecked, not found
  • A telephone number. One number circulates on aggregator pages. An exact-phrase search for it returns no pages at all and no first-party source prints it, so it is not published here.
  • A star rating. Three affiliate mirrors call it three stars; the listing itself shows none. There is no figure to stand behind, so there is none in the markup either.
  • How many rooms there are. One aggregator says five, another says seven, and six room types are sold. None of the three is a room count.
  • A website of its own. Every domain that looks like one redirects to the Booking.com listing with an affiliate id attached.
  • Who runs it. A first name appears in guest reviews. Guest reviews are not a source for a name, so it is not repeated.
