Arriving

  • By car

Livadh lies below the SH8, west-north-west of Himarë town. Leave the highway about a kilometre out of town and follow Rruga Shen Varvara down to the bay — 5.1 km and roughly eleven minutes from the town centre. There is parking along the beach road.

  • By bus

Buses on the Vlorë–Sarandë route set down in Himarë town, not at the bay. From there it is the same road down, so the last leg is a taxi rather than a walk.

  • How far the town is

Himarë town centre is 1.6 km away in a straight line and 5.1 km by road; the bay sits about a kilometre west of the SH8, with Rruga Shen Varvara running 2.7 km between the two.

The shingle below the tables is Livadhi, about a kilometre and a half of it, and it shelves slowly. Where the pine shade and the free parking are is worth knowing before you come down for the day. If every table here is taken, the rest of the kitchens around Himarë are a short run down the coast road.
