Getting to Livadhi
Livadhi sits on the coast road north-west of Himarë town, 4.3 km by road from the centre. Ionian View is on the inland side of the beach road, with the parking behind the building and the shingle directly opposite.

Arriving
By car. Almost everyone drives. From the north the road comes over the Llogara pass and down through Dhërmi and Vuno; from the south it runs up from Sarandë through Borsh and Qeparo. Either way you arrive on the same coast road, and Livadhi is the long beach immediately before Himarë town.
Parking. Free, private and on site — through the gate at the front and round behind the building. Roadside parking at Livadhi fills up in August, so this is worth more than it sounds.
By air. Fly into Tirana and drive south down the coast, which is a long day and a spectacular one.
By sea. In summer a ferry connects Himarë with Corfu, which makes an island-and-mainland trip straightforward without doubling back to Sarandë.
By bus. Intercity buses run along the Riviera road and stop in Himarë town; from there it is a short taxi ride north-west along the coast to Livadhi.

The coast road loops inland round every headland, so the drive is longer than the map looks.
What to look for
A three-storey white building with canvas awnings over every balcony, a terracotta porch roof over the ground floor, and a painted sign on a bracket at the gate — a coral sun with a blue wave curling across it. The gravel drive runs under the building to the parking at the back.
