It is classified two-star. That classification is meaningless here. No other property in this price band in Himara has a pool, a beach area and a restaurant. Alex Boutique Hotel. €24–80, 4.5/5 from 607 reviews, the largest review sample of any hotel in our records. A twelve-room family-run three-star on Rruga Spiro Milo in the hills above town, 1.2 km from Spile Beach, every room with a balcony, plus a panoramic terrace, garden, BBQ, free parking and breakfast served in-room. Amphora Guesthouse. €36–90, 4.75/5 from 265 reviews. Eight stone-walled rooms inside the fortified old town, run by the Kokas family, with a terrace facing the coastline and sea or mountain views. It is the only way to sleep inside Himara's Kastro walls, and the after-dark quiet up there is not comparable to anywhere on the water. Breakfast is charged separately; some rooms have a kitchenette. Ferdinand Residence carries the best score in this bracket at 4.8. Himara 28 carries the best position. It is the front row of the promenade, and its ground-floor restaurant operates under the same ownership but books separately. IRINI, rebranded from Bollanos in 2020, is the one to pick if a private terrace matters more than a five-minute walk; it is about seven minutes on foot from Livadhi Beach.
Agrotourism Himara is the outlier and worth considering seriously despite being two kilometres from the water. At 4.8 from 124 reviews it ties Ferdinand for the top score in the band, and the meals are the reason people rate it: olives, citrus and vegetables grown on site. It needs a car or a taxi for every beach day.

Miamar Luxury Hotel & Spa at €150–280, 4.5/5 from 312 reviews is the other five-star on the same beach. Its spa has a hammam, a sauna and couples' treatment rooms, which is a genuine rarity on this coast. Rapo's Resort at €100–160, 4.2/5 from 198 reviews is the four-star at Potam with a large pool, a tennis court, a kids' area and direct beach access; it is Himara's original resort and the cheapest way into the category.
The two guesthouses that beat them on score. Elpis Guest House, €95–110, 4.8/5 from 256 reviews, near the centre, with Greek-Albanian hosts and home-cooked breakfasts. Magic Ionian, €95–110, 4.8/5 from 156 reviews, self-catering apartments directly on Potam beachfront. They are among the closest accommodation to the waterline anywhere in Himara.
