Bare terracotta brick, rattan shades on whitewashed rafters, sage-green chairs at live-edge timber tables, and a covered veranda along the front.

01Inside

A wall left as brick

The long wall is terracotta brick, hung with a fringe of dried thatch pinned along its head, a small framed line in French and a round mirror on a strap. Above, the rafters are painted white and hung with wide rattan shades.

Tables are live-edge timber on slim black frames. The chairs are sage green, some quilted leatherette and some moulded shell.

02Outside

The veranda, and the disc above it

A decked veranda runs the length of the front on turned timber posts, strung with rope and planted along the rail. Pale grey blinds pull down across the front of it.

The white disc stands on the roof above it, high enough to read from the road: a flame, two crossed grill tools, and the name.
