Inside
Sixty-five square metres on one level: a bedroom with a door, a living room running into the kitchen, one private bathroom, and a balcony looking at the mountain and the town. Tiled throughout, air-conditioned, and soundproofed against the street.

The kitchen and the table
The kitchen wraps two walls at the far end of the living room — an oven, a ceramic hob and an extractor, a fridge-freezer, a washing machine under the counter, and a kettle and a toaster. The cupboards hold kitchenware, so cooking here means shopping rather than improvising, and the minimarket is fifty metres away. The table seats four, two along each side.

The living room
The living room is one continuous space with the kitchen, tiled throughout, with a sofa along the inside wall that opens into a bed — which is how the flat sleeps four rather than two. The television is a flat-screen with satellite channels. The windows are soundproofed.

The bedroom
The bedroom is a separate room with a door, not a corner of the living space. It holds a queen bed with a wooden frame, a full wardrobe, and a bedside socket on the near side. Air conditioning serves the flat. Linens and towels are provided and the floor is the same cool tile as the rest of the apartment, which matters in August.
