The family

Amalia and Sotiris live here.

The house stands in a large walled garden where the SH8 coast road comes down to Potam: lawns under plane trees with whitewashed trunks, an old olive in a stone bed, flagstone paths, and a tiled pergola with the tables beneath it. The sea shows over the garden wall.

Amalia, Sotiris and their family live on the property and run it themselves. They cook, they keep the garden, and they look after the rooms. They speak Greek, English and Albanian. Until 2019 the house went by the name Beleri's Rooms.

From the garden

What the kitchen cooks, the garden grows.

Vegetables, fruit and olives come off the property itself. These are the family's own photographs, named the way the house names them: in English, Albanian and Greek.

The table

Breakfast and dinner, cooked to order.

The family's kitchen cooks breakfast and dinner when you ask for them and carries them out to the tables on the lawn or under the pergola. The vegetables and fruit come from the garden, there is a barbecue, and the pies are crimped by hand before they go into the oven.

A bar and a coffee corner serve drinks in the garden into the evening.
