Vourtaréa is on the SH8 coast road in Potam — the quiet southern edge of Himarë, on the Albanian Riviera. The beach is fifty metres in front; the Ceraunian mountains rise directly behind, and the guide sets out the ways of reaching Himarë.
Getting here
- Tirana Airport (TIA)≈ 3.5–4 hours by car, south over the Llogara pass and down the Riviera
- Sarandë≈ 2 hours south — the nearest ferry port for Corfu
- Himarë town centreAbout twenty minutes on foot along the shore road, or a two-minute drive

Free private parking is on site, so driving the Riviera is the easiest way to arrive. Coach and minibus services from Tirana, Vlorë and Sarandë stop in Himarë town, a twenty-minute walk up the shore road.
