Guesthouse · Dhërmi, Albanian Riviera
Timber chalets and bungalows behind Dhërmi beach, about a hundred metres from the water, with lamps along the paths and a pavilion lit under its thatch.
druri
noun, Albanian — wood; the timber a house is built of.
Vila Druri is a garden of timber chalets and bungalows on the beach road at Dhërmi, on the ground the address still calls the old workers' camp. Every room is boarded inside in honey pine.
Tomi and his family run it. The garden is the point of the place: banana plants taller than the porches, fruit trees, stone paths across the lawn, and a thatched pavilion in the middle where the coffee and the drinks are served.

Low lamps run along the stone slabs, from the pavilion to the porches.
Four doors
Every type has air conditioning, its own bathroom and a balcony or porch. Open a door to see the room behind it.

Every room is in a timber chalet or bungalow boarded inside in honey pine. There are four types, each 25 m² with air conditioning, a private bathroom and a balcony or porch: a double or twin with a sea view, a triple, a one-bedroom villa and a bungalow with a separate bedroom.
