Five-star beachfront hotel · Livadh, Himarë
Every floor set back from the one below, so every room gets its own sky
Prado stands on the shingle at Livadh, about 1.6 km north of Himarë town. Each floor is cantilevered out and set back from the one beneath it, so all fifty-seven rooms have a balcony with open sky above — not a slot cut into a flat façade. The beach does not start nearby. It starts where the building stops.

Fifty-seven rooms, eleven types, one balcony each
Oak panelling, grey marble, a super king bed in most of them, and a balcony wide enough to sit two people out on. What separates the types is floor area, how many the room sleeps and which way the balcony faces — so those are the things listed here.

Your umbrella is already on the beach
Livadhi is shingle, and the hotel keeps its own stretch of it directly in front of the building. Every rate carries one umbrella and two loungers, set out before you arrive, plus two bottles of water a day. Included, not charged for.

The coast either side
Himarë town & Spile
About 1.6 km south
The harbour, the town beach and the promenade the town walks each evening. Close enough to be the obvious dinner alternative, far enough that Livadh stays quiet.

Himarë Castle
1.2 km
The hilltop Kastro above the old town — stone lanes, Byzantine chapels and the whole coastline in one view.

Jale Beach
2.4 km
North over the headland — a bright cove reached by a short track down from the coast road.
Two restaurants, a sushi bar, and two more places to sit down

The Restaurant
Mediterranean · fine dining · 12:00 – 23:00 · 99 seats
The main dining room and its terrace, looking down the length of the bay. Mediterranean and traditional cooking, seasonal produce, fish and prime cuts, and a sommelier for the wine list.

The Sushi Bar
Sushi · cocktails · 12:00 – 23:00 · 91 seats
Sashimi, nigiri and rolls cut in front of you on the terrace, with a cocktail list beside them and the sunset in the same direction.

Breakfast
Buffet · included · 07:00 – 10:30 · 96 seats
A continental and Mediterranean buffet, laid out fresh each morning and included in every rate. Gluten-free, vegetarian and lactose-free plates are made to order on request.

The Pool Bar
Cocktails · quick meals · 07:00 – 23:00 · 92 seats
On the pool terrace, from first coffee to the last drink of the evening. Cocktails alcoholic and not, quick plates, and something cold without going back upstairs.

The Beach Bar
Drinks on the shingle · 07:00 – 23:00
Down on the beach itself, under rattan pendants and a string of lights once the sun goes. Drinks brought to the lounger, and the best place on the property to watch the light go off the water.

And below it all
The spa, and it is in the rate
Hammam, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a relaxation lounge, below reception. Access is included in every rate — massages, facials and salon treatments are booked and charged separately. The spa and the gym both close at nine.

The hotel in its own words
“Our mission is to provide the feel of a home-away-from-home with impeccable hospitality, peerless hygiene and safety, outstanding lodging facilities and service to our guests.”
Guests on Booking.com score the hotel 9.0 out of 10 — wonderful — with comfort and cleanliness its two highest marks.

The things nobody puts on a hotel page
- The car park is under the building, on the level below reception. It is free and it is included, but the spaces are limited, so reserve one when you book.
- There is a lift to every floor. The rooms are on the floors above reception; everything else — the desk, the restaurants, the spa and the pool — is on the ground floor or below it.
- The rooms are soundproofed.
- The beach is across the terrace, not across a road. Livadhi is pebble, so beach shoes are worth packing.
- A photo ID and a credit card are presented at the desk on arrival. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00.

What people ask before they book
How far is Prado Luxury Hotel from the beach?
It is on the beach. Livadhi Beach runs directly in front of the building at zero metres, and the hotel keeps its own private stretch of the shingle there. Every room rate includes one umbrella and two sun loungers on it, already set out, so there is nothing to hire on arrival.
Are the sun loungers and umbrella included at Prado?
Yes. Each of the fifty-seven rooms comes with one umbrella and two sun loungers, usable at the beach or at the pool, and two bottles of water at the beach each day. They are part of the rate rather than a daily charge, along with breakfast, the spa, the gym, parking, WiFi and the city tax.
Do all the rooms at Prado have a balcony and a sea view?
Every room and suite has its own private balcony — all fifty-seven. Views differ by type: some look straight down the Ionian, some catch the sea from the side, and some face the hills behind. The room schedule on this site lists which aspect each of the eleven types has.
Is the spa included in the room rate at Prado Luxury Hotel?
Access to the spa and the fitness centre at Prado is included in every rate. That covers the hammam, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and relaxation lounge. Massages, facials and salon treatments are booked and charged separately. The spa and the gym both close at nine in the evening, and the gym is adults only.
What is there to eat at Prado Luxury Hotel?
Five places. A Mediterranean restaurant seating ninety-nine and open from noon to eleven, a sushi bar on the terrace with the same hours, the breakfast buffet from seven to half past ten, a pool bar from seven in the morning, and a beach bar down on the shingle.
How do I get to Prado Luxury Hotel in Himarë?
The hotel sits on Rruga Kranea at Livadh, about 1.6 kilometres north of Himarë town on the Albanian Riviera, on the SH8 coast road. Parking under the building is free but limited, and the hotel can arrange an airport transfer for a fee.
What are the check-in and check-out times at Prado Luxury Hotel?
Check-in at Prado is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. The reception is staffed around the clock, so a late arrival is not a problem. Bring a photo ID and a credit card for the desk. The maximum in any room is four guests, with at most one extra bed and one cot.
Is Prado Luxury Hotel good for families?
Children of every age are welcome and several room types are built for four. A cot is free for a child of three or under; an extra bed is charged per night, at one rate up to twelve and a higher one to sixteen. The gym is adults only.
Does Prado Luxury Hotel allow pets?
No. Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or out.
When is the best time to stay at Livadh?
The hotel does not publish its season here, so check the dates on Booking.com before planning around them. July and August are the busiest months on the Albanian Riviera generally; June and September are quieter, and the sea is warm in both.
