It is a garden now: cypress, palms and an old olive over gravel paths, ten cream timber bungalows under pantile roofs, and at the bottom a covered restaurant deck built out over the shingle. Each bungalow is let whole, a pine-lined cabin of its own with a porch.

Pale shingle and clear water at the north end of Dhërmi Beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are rented at extra cost.

How close is Lodges Shën Nikolla to the beach?
The complex is on the beach itself, at the north end of Dhërmi Beach. The restaurant deck is built out over the shingle, and the garden paths run down between the bungalows to the water, so the sea is a short walk from every porch. Palasa Beach is 1.2 km to the north.
What is a bungalow like and how many people does it sleep?
Each bungalow is a whole timber cabin of about 30 square metres: one pine-lined room with a queen bed and two single beds, a private shower room, air conditioning, a fridge, a wardrobe and a covered porch with two chairs. It sleeps up to four. There are no cots or extra beds.
Is there a restaurant at Lodges Shën Nikolla?
Yes. Bar Restaurant Shën Nikolla is on the covered deck over the beach, inside the complex. It cooks Mediterranean food, seafood and grills, and the sign at the gate also points to its pizzeria. The restaurant and bar work the summer season, from May to mid-September, and close over the winter.

What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in runs from 13:00 to 23:30, and the desk asks to know your arrival time in advance; the front desk is staffed around the clock. Check-out is by 11:00. Luggage can be left at the desk if you want a last swim before the road.
Is there parking, and how do I get there?
Parking is free inside the gate and does not need reserving. Leave the SH8 coast road at Dhërmi and follow the road down to the north end of the beach. Vlorë International Airport is about 65 km north over the Llogara Pass, and Himarë is about 19 km south.
Do the bungalows have Wi-Fi and air conditioning?
Yes. Every bungalow has its own air-conditioning unit, and Wi-Fi is free in the bungalows. The rooms are non-smoking, with a designated smoking area outside. Pets are not allowed. Reception speaks English and Greek, and can arrange an airport shuttle at extra cost.
