Rruga Vangjel Zoto · Himarë · Albania
The sea is
across the road.
La Mer sits on the coast road through Himarë, under a straw-fringed pergola with white drapes tied back between the posts. Seafood, a stone wall at the pavement, and the water in front of you.

At the pavement
Look for the sign that reads Sofra e Bregut
The lettering across the fascia reads Sofra e Bregut, and the menu board standing on the pavement carries the same name. That is the frontage to look for on Rruga Vangjel Zoto.
The straw fringe over the pergola and the rough stone facing on the low wall make it easy to pick out from the road, between the palms in their white planters.

What the kitchen sends out

Seafood is what the kitchen is known for. Ring and ask what the catch is — more of the plates.
The outlook
Between the drapes

The coast road runs between the terrace and the water, with the parking along it, and a headland stands across the water beyond.
