Where it is

On the seafront at Spile, the sea-facing end of Himarë town.

Look for the board

It stands on a post out over the water: white above, red below, the two halves divided by a single sweeping curve, with a rosette punched through the middle of the red. Two pines grow in front of it, each staked to a timber tripod.

Getting there

Himarë sits on the coast road between Vlorë and Sarandë, and Spile is its seafront quarter — the flat stretch below the old hill town, where the beach, the promenade and the cafés are. Everything on the front is walkable once you are parked.
