The illuminated Brothers Grill & Fast Food sign at night, three white panels on a gold ground

Brothers
Grill

Fast Food & Grill, on Rruga Xhorxh Tenet. Vertical spits turn behind the counter and are carved to order — into a cone of printed paper, or onto a plate with chips and grilled flatbread.

What the sign says

The whole of it

There is no website and no menu online. One lit sign carries everything Brothers Grill says about itself, and this is all of it.

  • Fast Food & GRILL
Three vertical spits of stacked meat, the left one being sliced with a handheld electric carver, a red-handled knife at the top of the middle one, a heating element glowing behind

Off the spit, and off the grill

Carved down onto chips, with grilled flatbread, tomato, raw onion and a white sauce, into a cone of printed paper to carry or set out on a plate. The grill sends out cuts of its own, onto the same chips. Five more counter grills stand inside a hundred and fifty metres of this one; the rest of Himarë's street food is a short walk further.
