Boho is a beach bar just above the beach at Livadh, laid end to end with kilims and floor cushions under a wide canopy of pale camouflage netting.

You sit on the floor
The ground is laid with overlapping kilims, and the seating on them is round mandala cushions, low tables built from rough boards, and slouched bean bags in olive, rose, teal and pale yellow. There are chairs and benches around the edges for anyone who would rather not get down there.

One net over most of the floor
A wide canopy of pale camouflage netting — a fine mesh hung with cut fabric leaves — is strung between timber posts over most of the seating floor, and hung with dreamcatchers and rope hearts. It breaks the middle of the day into moving dapple rather than shutting the light out. The rugs past its edge lie in full sun.

Nothing here matches
The furniture is salvaged and none of it was bought as a set: a painted bureau, fringed standard lampshades on the deck, a rotary telephone, an old black trunk. After dark the lamps are most of the light, with festoon bulbs strung overhead.

Cocktails are the point
It is a bar rather than a restaurant, and what comes across the counter is mixed drinks. Boho runs on a summer season on the Riviera.

Someone is usually playing
The nights Boho announces are live sets — a singer and a guitar on the deck with a PA stack and the lamps behind them, rather than a booth. Announcements go up on the bar's own Instagram.
