From the balcony the order never changes: the garden, the palms along the promenade, Potam Beach about 45 metres from the house, and the water about 60. To the south the bay ends at a wooded headland; to the north it runs on towards Himarë town.

Potam, and the beaches either side

Potam is the bay south of Himarë town. Prinos Beach and Filikuri Beach are each about 650 metres from the door, either side of Potam, and the town waterfront is about a kilometre and a half up the shore.

Before you book

How far is Blue Stay Boutique Hotel from the beach?

Very close. Potam Beach begins about 45 metres from the house, past the garden and the palm promenade, and the waterline is about 60 metres away. Prinos Beach is about 640 metres north along the shore and Filikuri Beach about 650 metres south, so three beaches lie within about 650 metres of the door.

Do the rooms have a balcony and a sea view?

Three of the four room types have a balcony: both doubles and the Triple Room with Sea View. Two types are named for their sea view, the 18 m² Deluxe Double and the 30 m² triple. The Triple Room at 35 m² is the largest and has no balcony.

Is there a swimming pool at the hotel?

No. There is no swimming pool at Blue Stay Boutique Hotel. It is a small beachfront hotel and the sea is the pool: Potam Beach starts about 45 metres from the door, at the south end of the bay under the wooded headland.

Is parking free at Blue Stay Boutique Hotel?

Yes. Parking is free and private, on the hotel's own grounds in front of the house beside the garden, and it does not need to be reserved. The car stays a few steps from the door and about a minute's walk from the beach.

How do I get to Blue Stay Boutique Hotel from Vlorë airport?

Vlorë International Airport is about 84 km north. Drive south on the SH8 coast road over or through the Llogara pass, past Dhërmi and Himarë town, and on to Potam. The hotel offers an airport shuttle for a charge. Buses between Himarë and Sarandë stop on the SH8 about 1.3 km north.

Can I bring children or pets?

Children of any age are welcome; anyone 18 or over is charged as an adult. The hotel has no cots and no extra beds, so a family of three should book one of the two triple rooms, which have a double bed and a single. Pets are not allowed, and parties are not allowed either.
