Arriving
Himarë sits on the SH8, the coast road that runs the length of the Albanian Riviera. The guide to getting to Himarë covers the buses down from Vlorë and up from Sarandë, the ferries and the drive.
From the town, the street runs south along the shore towards Potam. The building is the five-storey one with cream awnings down four of its floors and a pantile roof, and the yellow board with the name on it stands on the garden wall.
Parking is on the property, private and free, which matters here: the streets on this stretch fill through July and August.

What is around it
Prinos Beach is the closest stretch of shore, a walk of a few minutes downhill: light pebbles, clear cold water, a beach club along part of it.
Potami Beach is the next bay south, with seaside restaurants and a quieter feel than the town beaches.
Behind the building the hillside climbs into olive terraces, which is what the balconies on that side look at.
