The place
About eighty metres above the bay
The hotel stands in the Cako quarter on the hillside behind Himarë. From the deck the whole town runs down to Spile Bay. The walk into town takes 15 to 20 minutes and the way back up is steep, so most of the coast is easiest by car.

Before you come
01How far is Hotel Llazari from the beach?
Spile Beach, the town beach of Himarë, is about 1.4 km away, and Maracit and Prinos beaches are within 2 km. The hotel stands on the hill above the town, so the walk down takes around a quarter of an hour and the walk back up is steep. With a car, every beach on this stretch of coast is a few minutes away.
02Do I need a car to stay here?
A car makes the stay much easier. The hotel is on the hillside about 80 metres above the bay, and the walk up from the town centre takes 15 to 20 minutes on a steep road with little shade. Parking is free on site and needs no reservation, and the beaches along the coast are all a short drive.
03How do I find the hotel when I arrive?
Navigate to the exact coordinates, 40.10617, 19.74940, or the plus code 4P4X+JMW Himarë, rather than to a name search. The hotel is in the Cako quarter on the hill above the town. Send your arrival time ahead, and call +355 69 238 3406 if the road is unclear on the way up.
04Is there a swimming pool?
Yes. There is an outdoor pool on a flagstone deck looking over Himarë and the sea, with a paddling pool beside it, loungers, umbrellas and a bar. It is seasonal and free for guests to use. Towels and bed linen are provided in every unit.
05Can I cook in the apartments?
Every unit has a kitchenette with a hob, a fridge, a kettle, a toaster and basic kitchenware, plus a dining table. It is set up for breakfasts and simple meals rather than serious cooking. The bar by the pool serves drinks, and the restaurants of Himarë are a short drive down the hill.
06Which unit suits a family?
The two-bedroom apartment sleeps up to seven: a large double in one bedroom, a large double and a single in the other, and a sofa bed in the living room. The duplex studio sleeps four across two levels, and the studio sleeps three. Children of any age are welcome; cots and extra beds are not available.
07How do I pay, and what are the check-in times?
