AngelView Apartments is a small building of self-catering apartments behind a stone sea wall at Spile. There is one opening in that wall, and the beach is on the other side of it.
The gate
A round-headed opening, and two iron leaves.
The boundary is a wall of pink-grey rubble stone with dressed quoins, and it runs the whole width of the property. The gate is the one way through it. Inside are flagstones, planters, parasols and the parking; outside is the lane, then sand.
It is why the building's own photographs keep returning to the same arch — from the terrace, from the passage, from the lane. Everything here is arranged around it.

How close is AngelView Apartments to the beach?
It stands on the Spile beachfront at Himarë. One quiet lane separates the property's stone wall from the sand, and the arched gate in that wall opens straight onto it. You can be in the water a minute after leaving the door, towel still dry.
Do all the apartments have a sea view?
No. Three of the five published types face the sea and two face the mountain — the names say which. Whichever you take, the front terrace is shared: flagstones, planters along the sea wall, and the bay through the arch.
What is the difference between the sea-view and mountain-view apartments?
Aspect, and little else. The sea-facing units look over the roof to the beach, the moored boats and the headland. The mountain-facing ones turn inland to the ridge behind Himarë — cooler in the afternoon and quieter when the seafront is busy.
Is there a reception desk?
No. AngelView is a small building of self-catering apartments and the owner meets guests in person to hand over the key. Arrivals run from 15:00 to 22:00, and the owner needs to know your arrival time in advance so someone is there.
Can I pay by card?
No — the property takes cash only. Bring what you need for the stay, or draw it in Himarë before you check in. Rates themselves are quoted and confirmed live on Booking.com when you reserve.
Is there a kitchen in the apartment?
Each apartment has a refrigerator and a dining table, with a sofa in the living area. Bring what you want for breakfast and cold lunches — and for dinner, three restaurants stand within two hundred metres of the gate.
Is parking free at AngelView Apartments?
Yes. Private parking on site is free and you do not need to reserve it — you drive in through the gate and leave the car inside the wall. That matters more than it sounds in August, when the Spile seafront fills up.
How do I get to Himarë from the airport?
Tirana is the arrival airport, about four to five hours away by road — south to Fier and Vlorë, then over the Llogara pass and down the Riviera. Coastal buses serve Himarë from Tirana and from Vlorë, and the coast road passes the top of the lane.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed. Cribs and extra beds are not available either, and parties are not permitted. Children of all ages are welcome, though from three years old they are charged as adults.
